As an EtherCAT slave, the EL6711-0010 CC-Link slave terminal enables data exchange between EtherCAT and CC-Link. The terminal is a slave, both on the EtherCAT and on the CC-Link side, so that an EtherCAT master can exchange data with a CC-Link master via this terminal. All CC-Link-specific settings such as node address, baud rate, data size and many more are parameterized via the EtherCAT master. There is no need for complex configurations on the CC-Link side; no further parameterization via the CC-Link master is required.
