The MO6224-0020-1112 IO-Link module enables the connection of up to four IO-Link devices. These can be actuators, sensors or a combination of both. The connection to the field devices is made via a point-to-point connection. For this purpose, the module has an M12 output socket for each channel.
IO-Link is designed as an intelligent link between the fieldbus levels and the sensor, wherein parameterization information can be exchanged bidirectionally via the IO-Link connection. The parameterization of the IO-Link devices with service data can take place from TwinCAT via ADS or, very conveniently, via the integrated IO-Link configuration tool.
