The MB1008-0000-0000 baseplate has 8 data slots. The first slot is intended for the EtherCAT connection. This slot can only be used by an IPC or coupler module. The further 7 slots can be occupied with 1-row I/O or system modules. The baseplate has 3 connection points for the potential equalization.
The integrated housekeeping acquires data on temperature, shock, vibration, air pressure and humidity and enables dew point monitoring, among other things. Performance+ additionally offer Bluetooth diagnostics.
