Pluggable distributed power measurement: automatic configuration of an interconnected system and simplified installation

The EL3475-0200 is a 12-channel analog input that, with a 24-bit resolution and an input voltage of 333 mV, enables simple and detailed measurements in supply networks. With four RJ45 connections that can each connect three current and/or voltage transformers, the EL3475-0200 is multi-functional and the ideal solution for keeping installation simple in demanding applications.

 

In combination with the SCL6xxx pluggable small-signal split-core transformers, the EL3475-0200 enables configuration-free commissioning, as the current transformer ratios are set automatically between the transformer and terminal during start-up thanks to the electronic nameplate.

 

With a single voltage transformer in the system, several EL3475-0200 EtherCAT Terminals can work together as a distributed power measurement system and perform any number of power measurements without any loss in performance.

 

The EL3475-0200 also enables instantaneous value traces to be recorded in order to retrospectively analyze any deviation from standard values.
