With Beckhoff Vision, real-time image processing can be easily integrated into both new and existing control environments, and can be optimally synchronized with all machine and plant processes. Here, the previously strict separation between vision and automation technology is eliminated through system integration in all environments. At the same time, Beckhoff Vision components impress with their robust, attractive design as well as high scalability and long-term availability.
This year, the Vision system was one of the top 75 entries to be awarded gold out of almost 11,000 submissions, thus receiving the highest honor that the iF Design Awards 2023 bestowed. The jury, which consisted of 133 independent international experts, justified its decision by saying:
"The strong but sensitive type: Beckhoff Vision system combines the precision of a laboratory instrument with the robustness of an industrial machine. These products are all about control, and this is reflected in the solidly attractive design language."
In addition to the Vision system, the ATRO modular industrial robot system and the MX-System for control cabinet-free automation also received awards.
The iF Design Award is presented annually by the oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hannover. Since 1954, this award has been a globally recognized hallmark for design excellence. It honors design achievements in all disciplines: products, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior design, professional concepts, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI).
