The EP3751-0160 EtherCAT Box module features an internal ultra-low-noise 3-axis accelerometer with 20-bit resolution and a selectable measuring range of ±2 g, ±4 g, and ±8 g. The sampling frequency is 4 kHz. The built-in sensor is suitable for applications where low frequencies need to be monitored with the lowest possible noise. Potential applications include building monitoring, bridge monitoring, robotics, and condition monitoring.
The EtherCAT connection ensures virtually delay-free transmission and subsequent evaluation in the measuring system – for example, with TwinCAT Analytics. The sensor data can also be transmitted as raw values (unprocessed/filtered).
