Thanks to a reduction in the outer diameter of almost 15 percent, the new cables from Beckhoff make installation in tight installation spaces easy.
The Beckhoff OCT motor cable portfolio is being expanded with two cables: ZK4500-8002-xxxx and ZK4800-8002-xxxx. They can be used as a sleek single-cable solution for a high nominal voltage range extending up to 480 V DC. With a minimum bending radius of just 40 mm, they are perfect for angled installation spaces and narrow cable routing passages and are thus ideal for fixed routing, e.g. within a control cabinet.
The PVC compound for the motor cables is based on cables with a PVC outer sheath which are present on the market, which have already been used for larger OCT drive units. Both of these slim cable solutions are available for the AM8000 servomotors, as well as for the AX5000 servo drives and the AX8000 multi-axis servo system. The low-capacitance design of the new PVC motor cable enables the cable to cover long distances between the servo drive and the drive. The cables are available in different lengths. The maximum length is 25 m. Our standard variants ZK4500-8022-xxxx and ZK4800-8022-xxxx are still available for distances of up to 100 m and installation in dynamic applications, such as drag chains.
