The MS4208-2903-1112 EtherCAT power output module provides 24 V DC for the control voltage US or the load voltage UP as well as EtherCAT for additional consumers. Both voltages are protected by integrated electronic fuses; the load voltage UP can be safely shut down for each channel. The outputs are controlled by a TwinSAFE Logic-capable component via FSoE. In addition, the module has integrated TwinSAFE Logic and can also be used as a safety controller.

The MS8132-0120-1212 UPS module monitors the 24 V control voltage and detects an undervoltage. In the event of undervoltage, the M12 connectors on the front are powered from the battery. This means that an IPC module as well as an operating panel can be simultaneously supplied with 24 V. Port X1 has the Beckhoff OCT-UPS interface and is able to communicate with a corresponding device via this interface.
