The EL1957 safety EtherCAT Terminal is a digital input and output terminal for sensors with potential-free contacts for 24 V DC. It has eight fail-safe inputs and four fail-safe outputs. Moreover, the EL1957 integrates a programmable TwinSAFE Logic enabling the implementation of safety applications directly in the terminal. Depending on the application, the safety-oriented information can be pre-processed directly in terminal, so that the central TwinSAFE Logic only has to process the aggregated information.
