The software libraries TwinCAT PLC IEC 60870-5-101 and -104 Slave allow the realization of slaves for the internationally standardized telecontrol protocols. For communication, the protocol -101 uses a serial interface, the protocol -104 a TCP/IP interface. Both protocols are suitable for general use in telecontrol applications.
