The AX1000 economy servo drives are a particularly cost-efficient series that meets the highest technological standards. The AX1103-3xxx single-axis module is available in the higher power range with a rated output current of 3.4 A with a three-phase supply of 3 x 208…480 V AC. Despite its compact dimensions, it still incorporates an integrated power supply for 24 V DC, DC link capacitors, a ballast circuit, and – in most variants – a ballast resistor. The power supply generates the control voltage from the DC link voltage.

Supported motor types include the AM8000 synchronous servomotors with One Cable Technology (OCT), in addition to asynchronous and reluctance motors. The devices support TwinSAFE as standard in order to implement the STO/SS1 drive-integrated safety functions. Further TwinSAFE Safe Motion safety functions are available as options.

The AX1000 ultra-compact servo drives are fully integrated into the TwinCAT system via EtherCAT, ensuring that commissioning, operation, and diagnostics are made easy.

The TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2 serves as commissioning tool. Thanks to the structured design and the wide range of functions, commissioning of the axis is simple and intuitive.

Safety projects can be created quickly and easily with the TwinCAT 3 Safety Editor. The TwinSAFE Loader/User is also available as additional support.
