The Control Panels in the CP39xx-15xx-00x0 series, featuring an angled push-button extension in a special CNC function design, are control and operating devices specifically designed for CNC applications. The 21.5-inch display offers full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Mounting arm system for direct machine integration

Each IP65 Control Panel must be integrated into the machine or system by the customer. This is where the compact mounting arm adapters developed by Beckhoff come into play: These modern mechanical adapters offer a direct connection to a 48 mm mounting arm tube system, allowing the panels to be rotated and tilted. In the basic configuration, the CP3921-150x-00x0 CNC Control Panels are supplied with a mounting arm adapter and a lateral 1-port USB socket. The Control Panels can be fitted with a mounting arm adapter from the top or bottom.

TwinCAT CNC/TwinCAT NC I

TwinCAT 3 CNC offers the option to implement interpolation with up to 32 simultaneously interpolating axes. The number of axes and/or the number of channels can be adapted to the requirements of the application via the option packages. Various transformations can be supplemented with the different options on offer. Programming takes place according to DIN 66025. The axes and channels are configured in TwinCAT Engineering.

TwinCAT NC I allows for the interpolation of movements with up to three path axes and five auxiliary axes. A variety of axis types with various fieldbus interfaces are supported. The movement is usually programmed in DIN 66025, but it can also alternatively be carried out via PLC function blocks.

 

Flexible configuration

Thanks to the DVI/USB Extended and CP-Link 4 connection technologies, it is possible to use the CNC Control Panels at a distance of up to 100 meters from the industrial PC.

 

Multi-touch technology

Beckhoff uses exclusively manufactured multi-touch sensors to meet the high demands for mechanical stability, resilience in harsh industrial environments, precise operation, and elegant design. All necessary controller boards are self-developed and manufactured in-house. The result is a highly robust overall system that enables state-of-the-art operating comfort, even in harsh machine environments.

Our in-house hardware development is rounded off by our own BIOS development, comprehensive expertise in Microsoft operating systems, and the ultra-compact TwinCAT/BSD operating system. The Control Panel portfolio is complemented by TwinCAT HMI. The visualization software is optimally integrated into the TwinCAT environment and supports the technical possibilities offered by Beckhoff Control Panels through modern programming and parameterization for all kinds of applications.
