For the seventh time in a row, Beckhoff will be participating as an exhibitor at Prolight + Sound. The PC-based control technology supports all common industry-specific communication standards and is the all-in-one platform for stage and show technology: The highlight at the Beckhoff booth will be the new ultra compact C6015 IPC with multi-core technology and PJLink support for efficient integration of video projectors.
The ultra compact C6015 IPC can be used for automation, visualization and communication tasks. The robust control cabinet IPC is equipped with a 1.91 GHz Intel® Atom™ CPU with up to four cores, offering exceptional performance reserves for a variety of functions. The compact housing dimensions of 82 x 82 x 40 mm and flexible installation options make the fanless multi-core PC the ideal controller for applications with high performance requirements where mounting space is limited. The interfaces for transferring electrical signals, IP, image and audio signals – which are available by default – make the C6015 suitable for cost-effective control of multimedia walls, for example.
Another new highlight is the integration of PJLink technology into the Beckhoff control platform. In conjunction with support for typical audio/video communication standards such as AES 70 (OCA), DMX, SMPTE timecode, Crestron, Bang & Olufsen, Art-Net™, streaming ACN (sACN) and PosiStageNet, all the important devices and systems for media and stage technology can be controlled via the centralized PC platform. In addition, the CX51x0 and CX20x0 Embedded PCs from Beckhoff are now available with a DisplayPort option. This enables direct connection of monitors with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz. A second monitor can be connected via the DVI interface.
