The EPP2839-0022 EtherCAT P Box module is intended for processing digital/binary signals. It connects the binary control signals of the automation device to the actuators at process level. The outputs each process an output current of up to 0.5 A. Short-term overload may occur. The outputs are short-circuit proof. The total current of all outputs is limited to 3 A.

 

The channels indicate their signal status by means of LEDs. The signal connection is made via screw-type M12 connectors. Two channels are available per M12 socket. Each output channel reports an open-load or short-circuit error to the PLC via diagnostics. Module-related undervoltage detection of the supply voltage takes place. The 16-channel design offers a very high channel density in a very small space.
