The AF1000 economy variable frequency drives are a cost-efficient series for basic drive tasks. The AF1222-3xxx dual-axis module is available in the higher power range with a rated output power of 2.2 kW with a three-phase supply of 3 x 208…480 V AC.

Despite its compact dimensions, it still incorporates an integrated power supply for 24 V DC, DC link capacitors, and a ballast circuit. The power supply generates the control voltage from the DC link voltage.

The devices support TwinSAFE as an option in order to implement the STO/SS1 drive-integrated safety functions.

The highly efficient AF1000 variable frequency drives are fully integrated into the TwinCAT system via EtherCAT, ensuring that commissioning, operation, and diagnostics are made easy.

The TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2 serves as commissioning tool. Thanks to the structured design and the wide range of functions, commissioning of the axis is simple and intuitive.

Safety projects can be created quickly and easily with the TwinCAT 3 Safety Editor. The TwinSAFE Loader/User is also available as additional support.
