The rail for the AL8300-0010-0xxx scale tape is used for simplified installation of the encoder system. The rail is installed parallel to the magnetic track to achieve precise positioning of the scale tape below the scanning head. The rail must be selected according to the installation width of the linear motor in use. It is only available in a length of 576 mm. For applications with longer linear axes, several rails can be lined up in a row. In the case of a shorter linear axis, the rail can be shortened independently if required.
