Depending on the spindle pitch, the electric cylinder AA3023 offer a peak force of 3125…6250 N and a maximum speed of 0.5 to 1.0 m/s in a voltage range of 100 to 480 V AC. The dimensions of the AA3023 correspond in flange dimension and screw-on points to those of a pneumatic cylinder according to ISO 15552 with a piston diameter of 40 mm. In addition to the simple implementation in existing systems, the standardized periphery of a pneumatic cylinder is also simple to use.

The advantages with regard to force, dynamics and compactness meet the advantages of servo technology, such as controlled positioning, safe holding at a standstill and high efficiency.

In addition to the high resolution, the safe 24-bit multiturn encoder installed offers the advantages of OCT and electronic nameplate for fast and simple commissioning. In addition, the electric cylinder enables uncomplicated access to process data, which can be used to optimize processing performance quickly and easily. Different spindle pitches and a backlash-free holding brake are available as options. Beckhoff supplies the necessary ready-to-connect cables and the software to go with the electric cylinders.
