The analog multi-functional terminals combine the standard signals of ±10 V and ±20 mA, offering a reliable and versatile solution for a wide range of applications. They expand the product range with a powerful alternative to single-function terminals and offer users clear advantages through reduced storage costs, increased flexibility, and simplified commissioning.

The EL307x (inputs) and EL407x (outputs) analog EtherCAT Terminals with 2, 4, and 8 channels provide universal standard signal terminals that can be parameterized for current or voltage on a channel-by-channel basis via the controller/TwinCAT. The EL4374 combines inputs and outputs in a single terminal to ensure maximum flexibility and cost efficiency. The EL317x (inputs) and EL417x (outputs) EtherCAT Terminals complement the portfolio for challenging applications, featuring significantly higher sampling rates, distributed clocks, and other properties to handle sophisticated analog tasks. The new analog outputs in the EL417x series offer electrically isolated channels up to 50 V (EL4172), with current outputs driving high load resistances and enabling analog current/voltage feedback measurement via EtherCAT for the first time. This provides real diagnostic functions for detecting operating faults such as overload, wire break, or short circuit.

With their high performance, compact design, and precise 16-bit resolution, the analog EtherCAT multi-functional terminals in the EL3x7x and EL4x7x family set new standards in the field of analog IP20 I/Os.
