MO3xxx | I/O modules, analog input

The MO3xxx I/O modules process analog input and output signals for voltage, current, temperature, and other measured variables. In addition to fixed channels, parameterizable channels are also available, with which you can choose between current and voltage measurement. The product portfolio also includes modules for connecting and evaluating special sensors such as strain gauges, thermocouples, resistance thermometers and acceleration sensors.

Beckhoff offers the right system module for every application in the MX-System product portfolio of analog output modules through different channel numbers, resolutions and measurement accuracies, from simple industrial applications to high-precision measurement technology.

Distributed clocks and XFC for speed and precision
Some analog input modules are based on the XFC technology (eXtreme Fast Control), which enables rapid, deterministic reactions to be realized.

This technology enables fast I/O response times, oversampling of the input signal and precise time measurement for events at the input with a resolution of 1 ns. Highly accurate synchronization of all distributed clocks-capable devices in the network is attainable with a synchronization accuracy of << 1 µs with the EtherCAT distributed clocks, which are implemented in some of the analog input modules.
