Complete solution for industrial image processing
The functional components of the unit are encased in an attractive anodized aluminum housing that offers IP65/67 protection. The thermally hardened and anti-reflective glass ensures high mechanical and chemical resistance during cleaning and handling. The EtherCAT P connection of the VUI is laterally oriented and allows mounting with low installation depth in the optical axis, while large mounting surfaces assure excellent heat dissipation. The dedicated ground connection, also located on the side, makes it easy to implement grounding and EMC concepts.
The resolution of the VUI2000 series camera sensors ranges from 2.3 to 5.0 megapixels. A color and a monochrome version complete with global shutter are available.
The integrated multicolor LED lighting produces constant lighting conditions for consistently high-quality images. The lighting creates the best possible contrast between the inspection feature and its surroundings – even in spectrally adjustable pulse mode. The brightness and color of the light in an illumination assembly can be set on a project-specific basis. Full integration into EtherCAT allows users to customize the settings in terms of light color, brightness, and triggering for each individual test object.
